Dan Rosser

Dan Rosser serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Wootton Park Academy Trust and as the Principal of Wootton Park School in Northampton. Under his leadership, Wootton Park School has achieved significant milestones, including being rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in its first two inspections in July 2019 and again in March 2025.

The school has received multiple accolades at the Northamptonshire Education Awards over the last three years, including Overall School of the Year, Secondary School of the Year and Primary School of the Year. In 2024, Dan was awarded Headteacher of the Year at the same awards.
Beyond his role at Wootton Park School, Dan has overseen the successful bid and pre-opening of our new flagship eco school – Overstone Gate Primary School due to open in September 2025. Dan is also overseeing our third successful free school bid – Dallington Park School, which is scheduled to open in 2027/28.
Dan’s career to date reflects a deep commitment to educational excellence and leadership, fostering environments where both learners and staff can thrive.
Dan holds the National Professional Qualification (NPQEL) in Executive Leadership along with an MA in Education.
Jean Fraser
Chief Financial Officer

Jean joined our Trust in March as Chief Financial Officer. Jean is a qualified accountant from one of the Big Four accountancy firms and has spent many years working as a management accountant and group management accountant in a variety of companies.
In 2015 Jean moved into the education sector, working in school business management for a primary school and most recently, for a new and growing secondary school. As well as being ACCA qualified, Jean holds a degree in Maths from the University of Warwick.
Anna Lake

Anna holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and is CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) accredited, bringing extensive experience in education operations and strategic support services. Anna joined the trust in 2014 as its first employee and was a key member of the pre-opening team for Wootton Park School, playing an instrumental role in establishing foundational processes and systems.

Currently, Anna oversees Trust-wide functions including admissions, marketing, HR, and broader business support, contributing to the efficient and effective operation of the organisation. Her cross-functional leadership ensures alignment between administrative excellence and educational outcomes.
Prior to joining the Trust, Anna worked for the Local Authority in school admissions and the Children’s Services Directorate, bringing valuable public sector experience to her leadership.
Kayleigh Smith

Mrs Kayleigh Smith is Headteacher of Overstone Gate Primary School and is supported by the Trust’s Chief Executive Officer Dan Rosser.
Having joined Wootton Park School as Assistant Principal when it opened in 2016 and been promoted to Vice Principal in 2022, Mrs Smith has extensive senior leadership experience at our sister school where she played a pivotal role in developing the primary phase provision.

With over 15 years of experience in early years and primary education, as staff Governor for four years, and as part of the initial team who were successful with the bid for the new primary school, we are confident that Mrs Smith’s commitment to the Trust, sustained track record of excellence in leadership and vision for Overstone Gate Primary School will drive the school’s success and growth.
Adele O’Toole

Adele O’Toole has taken on the Trust Executive Role following her association with Wootton Park School since it’s opening in 2016. Adele has progressed through the Trust from Office Administrator to Office Manager and has previous experience working in the SEN Department for another local secondary school.
Adele has played a pivotal role in communication with parents, organisation and developing the front office team.

Adele has 5 years experience as a parent governor at a local primary school which incorporated her understanding of the running educational establishments. As part of the initial team opening Wootton Park School she has a sustained record of incorporating growth and development within the trust.
